The dates have reverted to American format:

This is due to a bug in Windows 7. To fix this issue:
  • close Logbook
  • open the windows control panel and select ‘Regional and language options’.
  • pick a different locale under “Format”, e.g. English (United States)
  • click Apply
  • pick the desired locale, e.g. English (United Kingdom)
  • click Ok
  • Start Logbook

The restore function on versions prior to 2.8.0.9 does not work on Windows Vista:

We recommend you download the latest version as this issue has now been fixed.
To use the restore function on a computer running Windows Vista, you will have to temporarily run the software as administrator. You can do this by right-clicking the program icon and selecting ‘Run as administrator’ from the popup menu as per the following example:
